SUNNY HILLS PRESCHOOL is a play-based program for children ages 2-5. Our balanced teacher to child ratio assures individualized attention for each child. Small class sizes create a warm, nurturing, homelike environments where pre-schoolers can learn, explore, be happy and thrive.


OUR PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING is based on sound child development practices. We focus on each child as an individual, working from the developmental level he or she has attained and moving forward a step at a time. We emphasize inspiring literacy through play. Active involvement, meaningful experimentation and reinforcement through repetition help each child gain a sense of pride, accomplishment and love of learning to last throughout their school years.





OUR CREATIVE CURRICULUM introduces sensory motor, perceptual and language skills through materials and activities that are child-centered and teacher-directed.  Learning activities such as phonics and counting are planned, emphasizing process, not product.  Schedules are designed to balance structure and free play and active and quiet times.


OUR GOAL is to help each child transition successfully from home to school by encouraging them to develop their own pace without pressure.
